Lane Public Schools will be represented at the state level next year as Principal Joe Hays has been selected to participate in the 2026– 2027 cohort of the Oklahoma Principal Leadership Institute (OPLI), a highly competitive, year-long professional development program for experienced school leaders.
Administered by the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration, OPLI is designed to strengthen the leadership capacity and effectiveness of principals across the state.
The program targets practicing administrators who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to continued professional growth, with the goal of enhancing instructional leadership in Oklahoma schools.
