A routine patrol in Atoka County led to the arrest of an individual found asleep at a gas pump after Oklahoma Highway Patrol discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
OHP Trooper Mullins responded to a call regarding a person who passed out behind the wheel at a gas station in Lane at approximately 7:00 a.m. Upon arrival, the trooper located Jakob Smith in the driver’s seat of a gray Ford Escape. According to a store clerk, the vehicle had been stationary at the gas pumps since 5:30 a.m.
