Surveillance Leads to Larceny Charges

An investigation into a reported theft at the local Walmart resulted in the arrest of a woman on multiple charges after police discovered suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during the booking process.

On April 30, 2026, Atoka Police Officer Cort Humphrey, along with Master Patrolman Christian Shomo and Patrolman Tristian Marlow, responded to a theft in progress at Walmart. Assets Protection Manager Latrica Workman reported that a female individual, later identified as D'Adrian Tomlison, had been observed on security footage for approximately two hours.

According to the report, surveillance video showed Tomlison wrapping jewelry and other items in a towel and only scanning the towel at a self-checkout station. She was also observed scanning only one of two wax melts in her possession before being stopped by store security as she attempted to exit the building.
