Tushka Scores Runs in Bunches During Semi-Final, Fall in Extra Innings

The 2026 season for the Tushka Lady Tigers ended just one game short of a state championship appearance, but not before delivering one of the most memorable runs in program history.

Tushka finished the season 34-9 after falling to Caddo Lady Bruins in an unforgettable 21-20 extrainning battle in the semifinals of the Class 3A Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association State Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament on May 6 at FireLake Ball Fields.

The semifinal matchup was a showcase of offensive firepower from start to finish. Both teams scored in every inning except one as momentum constantly shifted between the two powerhouse programs. Entering the seventh inning, the Lady Tigers trailed by six runs and appeared to be on the verge of elimination.
