Despite the summer heat, the Downtown Greenspace saw one of its biggest turnouts on Saturday as local residents gathered to honor and interact with the area's first responders for Community Heroes Day.
The event proved to be a massive success, packing the downtown area with families, live music, and a strong showing of local support.
“A” Street was lined with an impressive display of emergency vehicles, anchored by the Atoka Fire Department’s truck, which prominently displayed an enormous U.S. flag hanging from its extended ladder.
