With temperatures rising, the Splash Pad is getting busier, which was the goal when we built it. It sure is awesome watching all of the kids having fun. If you haven’t been out there lately, you should check it out.
Also, the City Lake has been busy as well, with lots of families swimming, having picnics, fishing, etc. It is another spot you need to check out.
On June 3rd, Assistant City Manager Dodson and I attended the closeout meeting at our Wastewater Plant to go over the final inspection of the Headworks project that is being added to the plant. It is a very impressive addition to our wastewater plant. There is a short punch list of items that the vendor will be finishing in the next few weeks, but it is operational and being used now. It will greatly enhance the overall efficiency of the plant’s total operation.
