Teams Participate in Summer Slam — Staff photo by John Block Teams Participate in Summer Slam – Caney and Tushka high school fast pitch softball teams participated in the Red Oak Summer Slam conducted June 8-11. At the scrimmage festival, Tushka played nine games, finishing with a record of 6-2-1. Caney played 10 games, going 5-4-1. Pictured is senior Cheyenne Daniel smashing the ball to the center field wall on June 10 against North Rock Creek for a double. The Lady Cougars won 1-0 against North Rock Creek.
