The annual Youth Fishing Tournament, which was previously postponed due to inclement weather, has been officially rescheduled for next month.
Hosted by the McGee Creek Bass Club, the event is completely free to enter and is open to all children ages 16 and under. The tournament is now scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at McGee Creek Lake's Buster Hight Boat Ramp.
Organizers note there will be a brief meeting prior to take-off, and all participants must register with a club member at the boat landing before 8:00 a.m.
