Charges Filed Following Hit-and-Run, DUI Incident South of Atoka

A Tulsa man faces felony and misdemeanor charges in Atoka County District Court following a hit-and-run incident south of Atoka that led to allegations of driving under the influence with children in the vehicle.

According to an affidavit filed by Atoka County Sheriff's Deputy Matthew Clay, the incident began on Thursday, June 18, 2026, when dispatch received a 911 call regarding a hit-and-run south of the Tractor Supply store in Atoka. The occupants of the victim vehicle reported they were actively following a white Chevrolet Silverado that had struck the driver's side of their truck on Highway 69 and was attempting to flee.

The callers tracked the suspect vehicle as it turned west onto Community Chapel Road. Tushka Police Officer Rob Lowe intercepted and stopped both vehicles on Community Chapel Road, separating the parties until county deputies arrived.
