Everything is going well; we are continuing to work on various projects, always searching for new opportunities and leaving no stone unturned as we strive to improve our city in every way possible. I’m in discussions with a few interested investors on the possibility of a few projects that all have the ability to benefit our city should any or all come to fruition.
I hope everyone survived the heavy rains last week with minimal problems resulting from them. I had never seen all four lanes of 69/75 covered with water before the rains received on June 23rd. I believe our first responders had 15 high water rescues that they responded to that day as well.
We had to get a couple of things repaired at the Splash Pad recently, but it is getting busier than ever, which was the goal when we built it. It sure is awesome watching all of the kids having fun. Some days are busier than others, but you should definitely go check it out.
