A single-vehicle crash on East Sandy Spring Road sent a car off the roadway and into a ditch early Sunday afternoon, leaving the teen driver with minor injuries.
The collision occurred around 1:50 PM on July 26, 2026, about a half-mile east of South Cold Springs Road, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers reported that a 17-year-old driver from Porum was traveling eastbound in a 2017 Nissan Altima with a juvenile passenger when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road. The vehicle hit a ditch, traveled about 50 feet back onto the roadway, and came to a stop.
