I truly appreciate all of our city crews that are working hard every day in this heat to make our city as clean and beautiful as they possibly can. Please be aware of them out mowing and brush hogging the center medians and right of ways. Safety of our staff is always a priority and concern in these high traffic areas.
On July 28th, Assistant City Manager Gene Dodson, Public Works Director Bobby Ward and I attended a meeting at Johnson Park with representatives from a company to look at our options for adding a splash pad to Johnson Park.
On July 29th, Assistant City Manager Gene Dodson and I attended the Citizen’s Advisory Board Meeting at the Mack Alford Correctional Center in Stringtown.
