Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest at Centerpoint Store

A local woman was arrested on multiple drug-related charges following a traffic stop at the Centerpoint Convenience Store on the evening of August 4.

According to an incident report from the Atoka County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Corwin Ridgeway initially initiated the traffic stop shortly before 7:15 p.m. Deputy Matthew Clay arrived on the scene a short time later to assist.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with three individuals associated with the vehicle. During the interaction, Deputy Ridgeway questioned a female passenger, identified as Jennifer Gray, asking if there were any illegal items inside the vehicle.
