Public Intoxication Charge Filed Against Passenger

A passenger was arrested for Public Intoxication after state troopers conducted a late-night traffic stop on Highway 69 earlier this month.

According to an incident report from Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Trent Mixon, the stop occurred around 11:00 p.m. on August 3, when Trooper Mixon pulled over a northbound pickup truck near Old Highway 69, just south of Tushka, for multiple traffic violations.

During the contact, officers observed open alcohol containers inside the cab and noted a strong odor of alcohol inside the vehicle.
