The Atoka Wampus Cats will officially kick off their 2026 football season this Friday, August 21, hosting a home scrimmage against Wynnewood at 7:00 p.m.
Instead of a standard entry fee, the coaching staff is asking fans to bring donation items to help support the team throughout the season. Requested items include OxiClean, cleaning vinegar, Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent with Oxi, dryer sheets, bottled water, and Gatorade.
Community members and fans are encouraged to pack the stands in maroon and gold to support the Wampus Cats as they take the field for their first home action of the year.
