Coleman Resident Uninjured After Vehicle Hits Cow

A 72-year-old Coleman man escaped injury Wednesday night after his vehicle struck a cow standing in the roadway in Bryan County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 8:55 p.m. on Aug. 19 along State Highway 70E, roughly a quarter mile west of Sam Hill Lane.

According to the preliminary report by Trooper Christopher Turrobiartes, Meron Stanley, 72, was driving a eastbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle struck a cow traveling on the highway.
