Signs Your Pet Is in Pain

Pets are cherished members of many families. Pet owners do whatever they can to ensure their companion animals are content and comfortable.

But pets can be very good at hiding when they aren't feeling well, making it challenging for people to recognize when their animals need some extra comfort or medical care.

Pet owners may need some lessons in observing the subtle changes in their pets that may indicate an animal is in pain. Recognizing abnormalities can prevent a minor issue from becoming a major medical emergency. Here are some signs a pet is in pain, courtesy of the SPCA.
