Cardboard boat builders, splashzone spectators, and lake enthusiasts are gearing up to head to McGee Creek Lake this Saturday, Sept. 19, for The Dam Store’s 2nd Annual Redneck Regatta.
The family-friendly event invites participants of all ages to test their engineering skills, and their balance, by racing human-powered vessels constructed entirely from corrugated cardboard and duct tape.
Admission is completely free for the public. Every registered boat entrant will receive a free event t-shirt, and a free hot dog lunch will be provided for all attendees.
