Lane Public School marked an exciting milestone in its athletic history by hosting its first-ever Cross-Country Meet, welcoming student-athletes from eight schools for a day of competition, determination, and Eagle pride.
The event was made possible through the tremendous effort of Lane Eagles Cross Country Coach Leslie Moore, whose planning, preparation, and dedication brought the inaugural meet to life. Her commitment to Lane's athletes and the development of the school's cross-country program played an important role in making the event a success.
Lane welcomed teams from Cottonwood, Harmony, Tushka, Pittsburg, Kingston, Holly Creek, Krebs, and the Lane Eagles. More than 175 student- athletes traveled to Lane to compete.
