Lane Middle School Students Learn About the Risks of Vaping

Lane Middle School students recently participated in an educational assembly focused on the dangers and health risks associated with vaping.

Lane Public School Counselor Ms. Hutson invited Johnny Tonihika, Public Health Coordinator with the Choctaw Nation’s Himitthoa Achukmaka Program, to speak with students about vaping and its potential effects.

The presentation provided students with important information through both statistics and visual representations, giving them an opportunity to better understand the risks associated with vaping. The goal was to provide students with factual information that can help them make informed decisions and understand the potential consequences of vaping.
