At 17 years old, Stringtown student Remington Ratcliff is already living out every young writer's dream. Writing under his pen name Remington Slade Ratcliff, the teenager has published three distinct books, handling both the storytelling and the illustration, and recently connected with young local readers during a meet-and-greet on Friday, September 25th, where students who had read his works lined up to get signed copies.

Surrounded by his parents, Simon and Terra, and his little sister, Hadassah, Remington fielded questions from a room of eager young fans who were curious about how a teenager managed to turn wild ideas into bound books.

For Remington's parents, seeing him sign copies of his own books is the culmination of an inspiring personal journey.
