Atoka High School is gearing up for its 2026 "HalloComing" celebrations, featuring four senior king and queen candidate pairings and a full slate of homecoming traditions leading up to Friday, Oct. 30.
Senior royalty candidates vying for the crown this year include Ty James and Presley Conn, Canyon Willoughby and Maranda Brower, Triegan Ridgway and Rachel Underwood, and Carter Maxey and Rebekah Thompson. Each candidate pair has selected a distinct Halloween movie or concept to inspire their parade entry, ranging from horror classics to animated favorites.
Students will begin constructing class floats on Saturday, Oct. 25, working through Wednesday, Oct. 28, before a panel of local alumni judges evaluates the completed entries. The AHS Student Council has organized daily dress-up themes and campus activities to build school spirit throughout the week, culminating in a pep rally at 1:45 p.m. on Friday in the high school gymnasium.
