Alford’s home run was the only Tushka hit to produce a run batted in as Fairland defeated the Lady Tigers 4-3 on May 12 in the first round of the Oklahoma Secondary School’s Activities Association Class 3A State Tournament at Firelake Ball Fields in Shawnee.
