How are you today? Did you have bad weather last week? Beth and Ray had some wind, but not much rain. They drove by Lake Texoma the other day, and it was really full! And, the Red River was full also. The Atoka Lake is full. We'll certainly appreciate that during the heat of summer! Sunday night was a bit crazy! Lots of wind and no electricity all night! Sure hope it gets back on soon! Ray's flagpole broke. The patio furniture was blown around. Chimes are tangled. That's gonna take a while to untangle! Beth will get out later to check on damage.

How about some holidays to celebrate?

May 22nd: National Vanilla Pudding Day, National Solitaire Day (the card game), and National Maritime Day.

May 23rd: World Turtle Day, Lucky Penny Day, and National Taffy Day.

May 24th: National Scavenger Hunt Day, Asparagus Day, and Tiara Day.

The Ruth class, led by Patsy Miller, is continuing the study of the book of Revelation. Maybe you've missed the first few weeks, but you CAN catch up! Join them! Keep praying for Patsy as she leads the class. And pray for her health also! That group could give ANYONE health issues! Haha! Nah, the class members are great. They really want to learn more about God's word! Beth was even able to attend on Sunday!

Sunday morning started with celebrating birthdays at Stringtown FBC. Happy 2nd birthday to Kameron Bray. Happy birthday to Jamie Thompson and Caleb Tomlinson also!

No anniversaries were celebrated. Bea Lyda was baptized Sunday morning. She is already planning to do some mission work soon! Bro. Scott preached from Acts 8:9-24. He preached about the story of Simon the sorcerer. He tried to buy the Holy Spirit. He had a faith that did not save. Bo Burleson came to know the Lord during the Sunday service. And, Nate also made a decision to follow The Lord. Since summer is here, please remember that school is out. Kids are outside playing. Stay safe. Keep those kids safe!

KBA Camp is coming up soon! Remember to pray for kids and sponsors!

Vacation Bible School is also 'in the works'. That will be happening later in the summer (July). More info will soon be available! We'll keep you informed!

Sherry is having surgery this week. Pray for a quick recovery! Debra Patton is doing well after surgery. Tim White is undergoing treatment on a daily basis. And, on an exciting note, Taylor and Cooie are waiting for the arrival of boy number 3 in the next few weeks.

There are some mission activities happening during the summer. Pray for those doing mission work in Ghana, Tennessee, Mexico, and other places around the world.
