Join us at the Atoka County Library for a fun baking event! On Friday, May 30th from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM, children ages 8 and up are invited to participate in a lesson on making healthy cookies. Attendees will make two delicious cookie recipes. All supplies will be provided by the library. Sign-up is encouraged.
“Cookies are a great teaching experience when learning how to bake,” said Library Branch Manager Melissa Walker. “There are many yummy recipes that everyone can try and can also create healthy eating habits for the whole family.”
This Summer Reading Program is supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
