William Snakespeare: Rock Painting Art Class at Atoka County Library

Unleash your creativity at the Atoka County Library! Join us for a rock painting class to help decorate the library's front entrance on Friday, June 13th at 1:00 PM. Participants should bring 1 to 2 rocks, each no larger than 6 inches in diameter. This program is suitable for all ages, but registration is encouraged.

“We want to inspire our community to get creative at the library,” said Library Branch Manager Melissa Walker. “The fun part about this project is growth! Everyone in the community can participate by adding painted rocks, which will help the snake grow and provide a personal touch to the library.”

The Summer Reading Program is also supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.

For more information, contact the Atoka County Library at (580) 889-3555 or visit the library at 279 East A Street in Atoka.
