Racing Through Rain and Rooster Tails
This year’s Heartland Nationals won’t be remembered just for high speeds, but for the perseverance it took to get there. Between weather delays and track challenges, competitors showed remarkable tenacity; turning slick sand into shining moments.
And the racing isn’t over. Many of these same racers will return to the track July 11–12 for the July Double Header, a two-day points race that promises more adrenaline-pumping action in the heart of the summer.
As the mud dries and trophies settle, racers and fans are already counting the days until engines roar again on the sand strip.
