Driver Cited for Suspended License, Faces Beaver County Warrant

An Atoka woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after being stopped for traffic violations and subsequently found to be driving with a suspended license and having outstanding warrants.

At approximately 2:07 AM on June 5, 2025, Patrolman Grady Blackwood with the Atoka Police Department was on routine patrol near S Mississippi Avenue and Lake Road. He observed a red BMW, bearing an Oklahoma tag, failing to maintain a single lane of travel and having a defective tag light.

Officer Blackwood initiated a traffic stop, and the driver pulled over near the intersection. Upon making contact, the driver identified herself as Willa Wear of Atoka, Oklahoma, providing an Oklahoma ID card. Wear informed the officer that she did not possess a driver's license.
