An alleged assault occurred at an Atoka residence last month during a dispute involving a woman, her daughter, and the daughter's boyfriend, leading to reported injuries for the homeowner.
At approximately 7:00 PM on May 20, 2025, Deputy Joe Miklaucic responded to a report of an assault where both parties had left the scene. Upon arrival, he spoke with the victim, who had an ice pack on her right hand.
The victim advised that her daughter, Sara Chavers, and Chavers' boyfriend, Elvis McDow, had arrived at her house. The victim stated that McDow had been explicitly told multiple times he was not permitted on the property and had been asked twice earlier that evening to remain in the car.
