On June 18, 2025, a traffic stop on Highway 69/75 near Tractor Supply led to the arrest of a driver who allegedly failed to slow down or move over for an emergency vehicle.
Officer Cheyenne Gilbert observed a silver Ford Focus traveling southbound on Highway 69/75 in the outside lane, failing to yield to the ongoing traffic stop. Officer Gilbert subsequently initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which pulled over in the center median near Chicken Fight Road.
The driver, identified as Donna Goodson, provided an Oklahoma identification card and proof of insurance. A check revealed Goodson's driver's license was revoked through the State of Oklahoma, and the vehicle's registration had expired on May 31, 2025.
