A physical altercation at the Stringtown Travel Plaza on June 22, 2025, led to the arrest of two individuals on charges of domestic assault and battery, and public intoxication.
At approximately 4:58 PM, Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Officer Shelby Milam responded to a report of a physical dispute. Security personnel at the plaza advised that a female, identified as Kirbi Tomlinson, had physically assaulted her boyfriend, Clayton Cobbs.
Surveillance footage reviewed by officers showed Ms. Tomlinson and Mr. Cobbs arriving in a white vehicle with two other individuals. After exiting the vehicle, the pair began a verbal argument. As Mr. Cobbs started to walk away, Ms. Tomlinson allegedly struck him in his left jaw.
