Visitor Arrested for Smuggling Contraband into MACC

A visitor to the Mack Alford Correctional Center (MACC) was arrested on June 29, 2025, after allegedly attempting to smuggle contraband into the facility. The individual, identified as Darrell M. Puckett, is accused of committing a violation of Oklahoma Statutory law.

Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) Agent Chris Hudson, assigned to the Criminal Interdiction Division, stated that Puckett visited inmate Zachariah Stevenson at MACC at approximately 11:50 A.M..

Stevenson requested to use the restroom, and during a pat-down search before entering, he allegedly attempted to shove a cylindrical object down the toilet. An officer was able to recover the object. Stevenson was then escorted to the Singular Housing Unit (SHU), and Puckett was escorted to a lower administrative area.
