Caney's Trigger Ladd to Represent Oklahoma at National High School Rodeo Finals

Trigger Ladd, a recent graduate of Caney High School, has capped off an impressive rodeo season by qualifying to represent Oklahoma at the National High School Rodeo Association National Finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming, this July.

Ladd, the son of Derrick and Summer Ladd of Caney, competed in the 2025 Oklahoma High School Rodeo Association Finals where he was crowned the Round 1 Champion in Bullriding. He concluded his season as a Top 3 Bullrider in the state, earning his spot at the national competition against top high school rodeo athletes from across the nation.

In addition to his success in high school rodeo, Ladd also competed in the 2025 Oklahoma Youth Rodeo Association Finals, where he was named the 2025 Senior Bullriding Champion.
