For the second time in a week, a visitor has been arrested on charges related to allegedly introducing contraband into the Mack Alford Correctional Center (MACC). The latest incident, on July 4, 2025, involved a Davis, Oklahoma woman accused of smuggling items to an inmate.
According to a report from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) Criminal Interdiction Division (CID), Neva Danielle Taylor entered the MACC visitor intake area and underwent a pat down and property search prior to entering the inmate visitation area. Taylor visited inmate Kenneth Ray Vann for approximately 10 minutes before attempting to leave.
MACC staff then escorted inmate Vann to a secure area for a strip search. During this search, staff reportedly discovered two packages encased in black electrical tape inside an improvised pocket sewn into Vann's boxers. Simultaneously, Taylor was detained and escorted to a secure area.
