APS Represented at Texoma Marching Arts Camp

Atoka Public Schools saw representation at the Texoma Marching Arts and Leadership Academy (TMALA) in Ardmore this past Wednesday, July 9th, with staff member Mrs. Jenna Pebworth and soon-to-be junior Triegan Ridgeway both participating.

Mrs. Jenna Pebworth served as a staff member for TMALA, a week-long camp dedicated to marching band leadership, percussion, color guard, and drum major students. TMALA provides middle and high school band students of all levels with the opportunity to learn about marching arts from an experienced and engaging staff.

Mrs. Pebworth has been working with the camp for three years, expressing her enthusiasm for working with student leaders. Camp participants also enjoy evening activities and an exhibition by a Drum Corps International group.
