Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma to Host VA Presumptive Disability Conditions Event

“Your Service. Our Mission: Bringing VA Benefits Home” Campaign Event: “Your Service. Our Mission: Bringing VA Benefits Home” - VA Disability Presumptive Conditions Campaign Event Date: Monday, August 18, 2025, 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: Chickasaw Nation Community Center, 307 Locust St, Ardmore, OK On Aug 18, 2025, the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma will host VA and hold a Presumptive Conditions Disability Claims Event focused on identifying and assisting all Veterans across South Central Oklahoma who may have presumptive disabilities and who might be eligible for a VA pension or disability claim. A presumptive disability is a condition that VA presumes are related to military service, although the condition may first appear after discharge from the military. These conditions may qualify for VA compensation payments.

Throughout 2025, VA continued to collaborate with Tribal Nations across the U.S. launching a nationwide campaign to increase outreach related to the 2022 PACT Act legislation rolling out veteran disability enrollment claims events. The campaign, titled “Your Service. Our Mission: Bringing Benefits Home” originally kicked off March 2018 in several states, with several Tribal communities, still confirming their participation.
