Brock's Closet and Oh Yeah! Missions at the Back-to-School Bash for Stringtown. Submitted photo.

Well, it got hot on us, didn't it? It's not that surprising, seeing that it's August in Oklahoma. But air conditioning sure was nice the past week!

Holidays for this week include: August 14th: Color Book Day, National Creamsicle Day, National Financial Awareness Day August 15th: National Relaxation Day, National Lemon Meringue Pie Day, and National Back to School Prep Day August 16th: National Roller Coaster Day, National Tell a Joke Day, and National Honeybee Day The Back to School Bash in Stringtown was a huge success! There were over 250 people in attendance! Wow! Brock's Closet and Oh Yeah! Missions were able to meet the needs of many people. Isn't it wonderful when that happens? There were many community people there doing all sorts of services.

Services provided included haircuts by Julie Garrison Perry, nail polish (was it there, or is Beth's memory faulty?), face painting, and many fun things to do. There were inflatables and snow cones too. It was exciting for the entire family! Some of you helped with your donations to Brock's Closet. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
