Clint Hernandez, 33, an inmate at Howard McLeod Correctional Center in Atoka, was apprehended Tuesday, Aug. 12, after walking away from the facility earlier that morning.
City Emergency Management personnel assisted the Atoka County Sheriff’s Office in the search by deploying drones to aid ground teams, with multiple agencies working together to locate and capture Hernandez, who was serving a five-year sentence for assault and battery with a deadly weapon out of Garvin County.
