The driver and passenger of a vehicle found broken down on a city street were both arrested on August 9, 2025, on separate charges related to alcohol consumption.
At approximately 11:19 p.m., Atoka Police Officers Russell O'Neal and Grady Blackwood responded to a report of a disabled vehicle in the roadway near East 13th Street. They found a Chevrolet Tracker with two flat tires, which a deputy on the scene advised was likely caused by striking a curb. The driver, Rilee Nicole Walker, and the passenger, Madison Gray, were standing nearby.
Officer Blackwood spoke with Walker, who admitted to being the driver and having had one 'shot' before a concert earlier in the night. Walker, who appeared nervous and had red, watery eyes, submitted to a preliminary breath test (PBT) that showed a BAC of 0.027. She was placed under arrest for public intoxication.
