Lane School will be out August 29 for the FFA/4H County Fair. The Fair will be held at the Atoka County Fairgrounds on August 26-29. 2025. There will be an FFA division in which the rules go off of the Tulsa State Fair rules.

The 5th Annual Captain Jeff Sewell 5K and FunRun will take place on Saturday, October 25th at 8 a.m. at the Atoka High School. The run raises money for the Jeff Sewell Scholarship. The organizers started out doing 1 scholarship per year, consisting of $500 per semester for 8 semesters. That’s a $4,000 scholarship and can be used for whatever the student needs such as books, transportation, tuition, housing, living expenses, etc. The student must be a full-time (12 hrs.) student and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
