Police Investigate Verbal Threats After Altercation at Walmart

An altercation between a Walmart customer and an employee on August 7, 2025, led to a police investigation and the customer being formally trespassed from the property for two years. The dispute centered on a child throwing a ball in the toy section.

At approximately 5:51 PM, Officer Christian Shomo of the Atoka Police Department responded to Walmart after receiving a report that a female subject was threatening an employee. The customer was identified as Tryna Miller, and the employee was Team Lead Stephanie Head.

According to Head's written statement, she was working in the toy section when she observed an unsupervised child throwing balls. After giving multiple warnings, the child returned and knocked price sign numbers off a display. Head stated that when she began picking up the fallen numbers, Miller arrived and became verbally aggressive, using profane language and threatening to physically assault Head. Head claimed Miller told her to 'clock out' so they could fight.
