A woman was arrested on August 11, 2025, after a group of pedestrians on Highway 69 created a traffic hazard, and she was subsequently found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
At approximately 12:05 a.m., Officer Christian Shomo of the Atoka Police Department was dispatched to the Atoka County Courthouse, where Officer Russell O'Neal had stopped a group of individuals.
According to Officer O'Neal, the group, which included Scarlett Alejandro, had walked in the roadway on Highway 69, causing vehicles to brake suddenly to avoid a collision.
