Chaotic Walmart Scene Ends in Arrest of Two Individuals

An Atoka police investigation into a man with an outstanding warrant at Walmart quickly escalated, leading to the arrest of both the man and a woman who allegedly stole from the store and physically assaulted an officer.

On August 23rd, officers were called to Walmart to apprehend Cody Trent, who had a felony warrant. As Lt. Jimmy Taylor was placing Trent in hand restraints, a woman, later identified as Adrianna Trent, exited the store. A Walmart employee told officers that Adrianna had stolen merchandise and placed it in her purse.

When confronted, Adrianna Trent denied stealing anything and refused to allow an officer to look inside her bag. She then screamed and ran toward her husband, who was being restrained by Lt. Taylor.
