A man was apprehended on August 21st after allegedly attempting to steal and then return three fishing lures from the local Walmart. The suspect was identified by police as Aaron Goode.
According to a police report filed by Officer Christian Shomo, officers were first alerted to the situation by a Walmart employee who reported a man had stolen several items and had returned to the store to try and get a refund for them.
The employee told police that they had observed Goode entering the store and place three fishing lures in his pocket before leaving without paying. The employee maintained visual contact with Goode throughout the incident.
