Helen Maxine (Furr) Thompson Eaves, age 83, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident.

She was born on Wednesday, November 5, 1941, to Cecil Bruce and Eura Vivian (Maxwell) Furr, at Atoka, OK.

Maxine passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at her daughter's home in Stringtown, OK.

83 years, 7 months and 6 days.

She Stringtown High School and graduated with the class of 1959 and then went on to attend college.

Maxine was a postmaster in Stringtown for 37 years. She married Roy Loss Thompson who preceded her in death.

Maxine was a member of Stringtown First Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing, playing piano, gardening (was a master of growing flowers), camping and traveling. Maxine loved spending time with her family.
